PAFA is a Ugandan non-profit and humanitarian organization working with vulnerable
children, youth, women, and communities to advance human rights, improve well-being,
strengthen livelihoods, and build resilient, peaceful, and inclusive communities.

Our Thematic Areas
Creating Sustainable Change Across Eight Areas
Passion Aid Foundation Africa works across interconnected thematic areas that address the
health, protection, education, economic, environmental, and governance challenges affecting
vulnerable children, young people, women, and communities.
1. Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health & Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health
We promote improved maternal, neonatal, and child health while supporting access to quality
sexual and reproductive health information and services for adolescents and young people.
Child Protection
We work to keep children safe from all forms of abuse, violence, neglect, exploitation, and
other forms of harm, while strengthening families, communities, and protection systems.
Youth Skills Development and Empowerment
We equip young people with practical, vocational, entrepreneurial, and life skills that improve
their opportunities for employment, self-reliance, and meaningful participation in society.
How We Work
At Passion Aid Foundation Africa, we believe that lasting change is achieved through strong
partnerships, local leadership, and effective collaboration.
We work closely with communities, community-based and youth-led organizations,
government institutions, academic and research institutions, private sector actors, and other
development partners to design and implement solutions that respond to local needs and
priorities.
Our approach combines community engagement, strategic partnerships, evidence-informed
programming, and advocacy to address inequality, strengthen accountability, and promote
sustainable development.
As a development organization, we advocate for equity, equality, inclusive policies, and
programmes that leave no one behind.We also work to strengthen constructive relationships
between civil society, communities, and government institutions, contributing to more
responsive, accountable, and effective systems.
