Our Goal for 2025–2029
Children and young people, especially girls, develop their full potential in
communities that promote their rights, advance gender equality, and strengthen
resilience and adaptation to climate change.
Coordinate, collaborate, and promote the prevention of malaria and HIV/AIDS,
support the provision of integrated health services, and promote positive parenting
and childcare practices.
We also promote informed choices on sexual and reproductive health, improve
access to quality information and services, and support the prevention of early and
unintended pregnancy and sexual and gender-based violence.
We promote the protection of children from all forms of abuse, exploitation, violence,
and harmful practices, including early and forced marriage.
We work with families, communities, institutions, and existing protection structures
to strengthen safe and protective environments for children.
We contribute to creating an enabling environment for quality learning and positive
development from early childhood through primary education.
Our work promotes learning through play, safe and gender-responsive learning
environments, experience sharing, and opportunities that help children develop the
knowledge and skills needed to respond to life's challenges.
We provide young people with strategic and practical skills in various trades,
mentorship, and opportunities that support employment, self-reliance, and economic
participation.
Our focus includes unemployed young people and other vulnerable groups, including
young mothers, where relevant.
Strengthen household and community livelihoods by promoting improved farming
practices, farmer knowledge and skills, value chain development, and value addition.
Through farmer groups and other community structures, we will support economic
resilience and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
We promote human rights, transparency, accountability, improved service delivery,
peaceful coexistence, and conflict prevention and resolution.
We strengthen citizen participation and engagement with duty bearers while
contributing to more responsive and accountable governance.
We promote climate change adaptation strategies and environmental protection
mechanisms that strengthen the resilience of communities affected by changing
climatic conditions.
Our work supports climate education, sustainable practices, and community-based
approaches to environmental protection and adaptation.
We provide emergency relief to disadvantaged communities affected by disasters
and emergencies while strengthening preparedness, mitigation, rescue, relief,
rehabilitation, and community resilience.
We support communities in developing coping mechanisms and reducing their
